Excavated directly into solid rock, Temppeliaukio Church is situated in the heart of Helsinki. Because of its architecture it's one of the main attractions in Helsinki. The rock walls, copper dome and skylight windows create a unique atmosphere inside the church hall. Due to its excellent acoustics the church is a popular venue for concerts.
